The fourth international conference "From the Caspian to the Persian Gulf, with Afanatsi Nikitin" was held at Mazandaran University.

According to the public relations report of Mazandaran University, the fourth international conference "From the Caspian to the Persian Gulf, with Afanatsi Nikitin" was organized by the Iranian Language and Russian Literature Association on Wednesday, October 11, 1403, hosted by Mazandaran University.

According to this report, Dr. Masoumeh Motademnia, a member of the academic staff of the Russian Language Department of Mazandaran University and the executive secretary of this conference, announced this news and added: The fourth international conference of the Iranian Language and Russian Literature Association titled "From the Caspian to the Persian Gulf with Afanasy Nikitin" from the eighth It started in October and after being held at Al-Zahra and Tarbiat Modares universities, it reached the last station on Wednesday, October 11, 1403 at Mazandaran University.

Pointing out that this conference was organized by the Iranian Association of Russian Language and Literature and with the support of Tarbiat Madras, Al-Zahra and Mazandaran universities and the support of Russia's Russkimir Foundation, the World Congress of Professors of Russian Language and Literature, University of Tehran and Iranology Foundation, Dr. Motamedania said: This ceremony was the first time the book "Crossing the Three Seas of Afanasy Nikitin" translated by Dr. Karimi Motahar, Tehran University professor and periodic president of the Congress of Russian Language Professors was unveiled.

He stated: In this conference, there were professors from major Russian universities who presented their articles. Also, before the conference, a collection of abstract articles has been published, and soon a collection of complete and outstanding articles will be published in the scientific-research journal of the association.

The executive secretary of this conference stated that the main topics of the conference are Russian language and literature, history and culture of Iran and Russia and Afanasy Nikitin's travelogue and added: On the sidelines of this conference, a memorandum of understanding on scientific-educational cooperation between Mazandaran University and Arenburg University of Russia was signed.

It is reminded: the guests of the conference visited the places where Afanasy Nikitin had passed in Mazandaran province. In this conference, articles were received from 18 countries and the guests were also from Russia and Belarus.
