Culture and art in Mazandaran Province, one of Iran's rich and diverse regions, present a great variety and richness of cultural heritage. This province is famous for its natural beauty, historical and cultural heritage, as well as its close connection to the Caspian Sea and the Alborz Mountains.

Traditional Music: Mazandaran has a vibrant tradition of music. One of the most famous musical instruments in the region is the tar, setar, and daf. 

Traditional Architecture: Mazandaran has beautiful and diverse traditional architecture that has survived from ancient times to the present day. The villages and cities of Mazandaran are full of houses, castles, and traditional mosques that have their own unique artistry and beauty.

Handicrafts: Mazandaran's handicrafts include carpet weaving, kilim weaving, leatherwork, and even pottery. These handicrafts require a lot of skill and patience and are decorated with local designs and patterns.
Literature and Poetry: Mazandaran has been home to many prominent Iranian poets and writers who have drawn inspiration from the natural beauty and culture of this region in their works.

As a scientific and educational institution, the University can play an important role in promoting, transferring and disseminating the culture and arts of society. The university can use cultural and artistic symbols in its environment to convey cultural identity and values to its students and members. The university can also help with cultural exchange and interaction with other universities and communities by holding cultural and artistic events.

In this regard, Mazandaran University has tried to achieve this by holding various cultural and artistic programs in the university and dormitories.
